Been off my bike for a couple of weeks, taking a welding course at the Union school in Eastern Maryland, so getting a chance to look over the country here. 
Man, the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware is just perfect Enfield country; not too steep, definitely no elevation, and small, twisty roads just,,,everywhere.
I'm planning on coming back, (for more school), in the spring;  will try and bring the truck so I can Enfield around this region more.

    I went back to the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York a couple of years ago to visit my son at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. I had never seen anywhere in the eastern USA. What a beautiful area. I just kept thinking what a great place to ride.

This part of the country reminds me a lot of Western Europe; France, belgium. Luxembourg, Netherlands.  A bend in the road, and you get 10 or 15 houses, barns, and a post office.  Of course. the main thoroughfares to the ocean beaches are packed, and fast.  If it says 60, you'd better be doing 75, or you'll get run right over. 
The developers wasted no space in packing as many high density units as possible onto the Maryland stretch of the Atlantic beaches.  Kind of,,,,shocking actually. 
anyway, i will definitely try and get my RE back here next spring.
