Seeing as I'm spending so much time working on my Bullet, it's about time I get comfortable while I'm doing so. I've been using a milk crate for the past year.

Does anyone have any recommendations for workstools and workstands?

I might build a simple platform out of wood, but I've got limited space so something that folds up/rolls would be good.

Suggestions anyone?

I use a seat box.

http://www.uteck.com/p_splicer_seat.html

I like it a lot, has give to the rear, oil resistant. You can drop stuff inside and it does not roll away etc etc.

You could dig a hole,--     about 5 feet deep.

I dont spend that much time working on it to nesessitate designing an environment

I use one of those rolling garden stools. The larger wheels
work well on rougher concrete or even grass.

Oh Oh a seat to sit on?   I thought you meant something to stand the bike on.

I just throw a foam pad on the ground beside my RE when working on it. No storage problem, it just leans up in a corner.

If you do a bike stand and pull up too far, the rolling stool is bound to happen...a matter of sphincter control and momentum. OH! You were talking about, oh ok, sorry about getting crude. ::) I put the center stand on a piece of 2X6 and sit on a bucket.

A bucket? You like the fancy stuff. I use a milk crate.

It's nice to dream about real tools, though :)

Black Widow bike hoists? Sounds like you're gonna die using one of these when it nips your finger in the folding mechanism or something!!!!!!!!!!  ::)

Well if that jack attracts the woman in the pictures shown on the web site, my wife will turn into a black widow.

Cycle lift AKA boat anchor.  Unless you use it daily kind of a waste of dollars.  Put it on its tall stand over a short board, buy a cheap sleeping bag pad from anywhere and save space and money.  Kicked my bike lift around for 3 years before I ditched it.

You can tell from the picture they're marketing towards the Harley dudes. If it isn't called "Scorpion" or "Black Widow" or "Death's Head" they won't buy it.

They chose "Black Widow" because "Dropped and Pinned" and "Found by wife crushed" were already taken.
