I will pick up my '08 Classic tomorrow!!!!

The dealer, Fuller's Cycles, in Marion NC. has been great to work with! He has added a few accessories for me and been putting around 5 miles a day on it since Monday. When I get ti Friday it should have about 20-25 miles on it, enough to ferret out any immediate problems.

The owner rides an '07 Classic and seems to be a stand up guy, I bent his ear almost daily for the last week and he still takes my calls, for that alone he deserves a medal!!

Look forward to finding other RE riders in the GA/NC/TN area to hook up with. I have done better that 100,000 miles on various bike in this beautiful area of the country and would like to share them with other riders once my Classic is broken in!!!

Congrats on the new bike. I ordered mine five weeks ago and I'm still waiting.

I must retreat to my place of Zen and meditate on this.

The Marion dealer seems like a stand up guy. i was a little concerned at first because he is so much into dirt bikes, but after talking with him I felt better. he is about 2 Enfield hours away, but I have been back to buy parts.
PS: I was looking at the Black Classic he had before I bought mine off ebay. Which color did you get?

If you ever want to ride the Parkway, give me a buzz.

I am getting the Black Classic.

Will definitely get with you after initial break-in to ride the parkway!

I know a lot of people like the green, but to me the black, with gold pinstriping reminds me of an old Norton and looks so classy.

Hey Don,
Just curious. Your profile says Atlanta. Isn't there a big dealer down there? Or are you living up here now?

He did not have an '08 Black Classic. Was supposed to call me if he could get one, never did.

I chose the green after falling for that color at the Cycle World motorcycle show once in Seattle when they had some Enfields there. But I also love the black, the silver and the white. Also love the red and blue Bullet 65s. So many colors, and so little time.......

I am wondering where the chrome and red Bullet originated.   Seems strange that would be a color  after seeing the classics,,,,,,black,,,,,green and blue.   When did the red ES start using that color...........dg      ???     Is that U Stumpy,,,,,,,,,from Comstock Park..........dg

The red/chrome deluxe looks just like a pre 71 BSA Lightning.
The black/chrome deluxe looks just like the BSA Thunderbolt.
The Blue/Chrome looks like the 500 they had, can't remember the name.
