Congratulations!

I just got mine back on the road after only two weeks down time.

That was bad enough...

That really made it run better.

Hi Jeri, congratulations, but be careful, these bikes really get into  your head. Before you  know it you'll be blogging with a bunch of  wonderfully knowledgeable and a bit kookey folks from pretty much all over the world. cochi :D

Hi
Already doing the blogging!!!
In what limited "seat time" I have had I really
enjoyed. What I don't understand is the stories
I read about where some geezer goes for a long
100 mile ride and his bike blows-up(siezes-up) or the
other common one I read about is "where can I
get a good piston cause I have holed three already"
I do not consider a 100 mile ride a long one!!!!
Or if you go 55 for a bit you should sieze your engine!!!!
This is not my first brit bike.
I would have rode round the world on any BSA or Triumph
I every owned without worrying about it holing pistons.
This really bothers me, what gives?
Thanks
Jeri

Geri,

As being someone that over researches before making a significant purchase, I have found that people tend to bitch alot.  What I mean is...on these internet forums, people, myself included, are quick to post, blog, whatever about something that has gone wrong.  As opposed to, "The [insert interest here] is working great...all is well here".

Of course this might not be news to you.  Just an observation.

Just keep the oil flowing and the mix and timing in order and all should be well in the land.

Hi
Point well taken.
I am still on the steep part of the learning curve.
Perhaps I will become more comfortable with
a little more experiance with the machine.

Congratulations!  I was wondering if your handle was a throwback to the old Firesign Theatre character" Nick Danger 3rd Eye"?
Watch out for the guy behind the guy in front of you
