           This guy's great. His trip started to be on cable tv a while back, but they didn't keep it going ?

            "..stuff mashed potatoes in a shoe and eat it and go another 300 miles" - -I almost snorted snot all over my keyboard 

            I've watched The Dakar up through Stage 9 so far. Those folks are all raving lunatic madmen riders and drivers and the cars, trucks and bikes all seem invincible until......     I can't believe the punishment they absorb; man, woman and machine.
