Just wondering how many times some of you reuse the large O-ring for the primary cover on the iron head engines? Do you have to replace it each time? I did buy a new one just in case, but I'm hoping to be able to reuse it at least a few times.

  Thanks, Jon in Puyallup

At over 15K miles and countless oil changes I have yet to replace the O-ring.  No leaks.

Great. Thanks guys. Thats why I love this forum. I'll plan on reusing it and save my new one for later.
I'm about an hour away from a top dealer (Vince's), but hes closed on my days off, though I have often emailed him, and in a pinch, he has met me down there on a Monday when the place is closed. But some members here don't have a dealer anywhere near them, and thats why this forum is so important--for support on keeping our Bullets on the road and in shape, and for the possibility of meeting other owners nearby and such.

Thanks again, Jon in Puyallup, Wa. USA
