Until today I had no idea there was such a thing until just a few minutes ago.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/part-ride-day-monday-120001748.html

It's been discussed here in the past. https://forum.classicmotorworks.com/index.php/topic,7857.msg96862.html#msg96862

This might be fun to do next year.

I'm enjoying my first day off in the last few weeks so no ride to work for me instead it's ride for errands. All is well.

Who rode to work or errands today ?
No matter where you go, there, you are.

I've no option, although the 20 miles round trip is usually done by bicycle all weather. I've even got ice tyres. :'(

I ride to work most days.
Travelling from Kent to Essex every day is a chore in a car. On the Conti it's a pleasure.
Going out in the garage and give it some love today(day off).

During my 39+ years of employment, I road my motorcycle to work pretty much every day.
About the only times I didn't ride was when it was raining and in Phoenix, those days are few and far between.

I always chuckled on the "Ride To Work" day when I'd see people venture out on their "once a week on the weekend" motorcycle and get to work with an excited grin on their faces.

When I would ask them why they didn't ride every day, they usually said, "You'd have to be nuts to put up with that traffic on a motorcycle every day."

To each, their own, but I always knew, even if I had a shitty day, I always had my motorcycle ride home to look forward to at the end of the day.  :)
