I looked at their bikes before I got the C5.
Construction is not bad. Looks are ok. The engine is a Honda-licensed copy if I recall.
Maybe if they came up with a 500cc model.... ???

These are nice little bikes. My mechanic is a dealer and I've sat on them - and I've seen exactly one in the wild. Not very common. If I didn't already own a SYM Wolf 150, I'd consider buying one.

Is that the engine the Kikker uses  ??? ???

I have to say it: I LikE that bike  :o I'd put my granddaughters on one of those in a minute and turn them loose in the back fields to beat it like a borrowed mule. There. Learn or bruise. Your choice.

This looks like it may come from the same factory, there's another one with a different name with a Yamaha Serow derived engine as well. Probably better than a Triumph Tiger Cub. ;)

This is a short good video interview with the founder in Cleveland: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=52SAP8muXCg

The fact that my mechanic would carry them is a good sign. They're real motorcycle people, and service what they sell, so they wouldn't sell something they wouldn't ride.

These small displacement bikes might show moderate top speeds, but not enough. Even the Bullet gets complaints about not enough.
And these little engines are gutless in the lower rpms. No torque.

It's okay for a kids bike around the neighborhood.  That's about it.  Nothing wrong with that, but the difference is way more than might be suspected at first.
The same situation is see with these old Sears Gilera or Benelli125 bikes from the 1960s. Not enough engine, suspension and frame made for young light riders, etc. May be cute, but not realistic.

If you have a hankering for something retro, underpowered, and of dubious quality, how about a Skyteam Ace 125. Not a 50cc twin but pretty neat. Looks good for the "Hipsters" I want one!

Those Hondas are rare and kinda pricey now

We have the 250 version, branded "Sinnis" cracking little bike, nice build and overall finish. The wife loves it!  The Herald and Sinnis 250 scramblers use the old Suzuki TU250 motor. The whole bike is built by the company that supplied Suzuki with the engine 1st time round.

For a fast 125 you need one of these. Cagiva Planet.
I rebuilt one and de-restricted it, possibly the most fun I've had in a long time, got to keep them on the boil though. Interestingly, spell check corrects Cagiva to a part of the female anatomy beginning with V. :o
