While trying to source the electrical click as asked in another post .I found this broken electrical connection. No idea what it is. Goes from behind the e starter towards the underside of the seat. Was loose/broken off and just hanging around.
The connection on the motor end is a small black cap and the upper end is red(?)( I'm color bind lol).

One wire?  Is that the side-stand switch connector?

The black cap in your picture is Neutral Switch. Once on my G5, the wire attached to it had broken off (picture below). It was soldered to the top of black plastic body of the neutral switch.

Your wire connector (beige color ?) seems to be something different, because that would not fit on the Neutral Switch. That may be side-stand switch connector.

Does your bike start in neutral or do you have to pull in clutch to start it ?

Below is link to my video on attaching the wire to the neutral switch.

BUT where is your wire that is supposed to go on the neutral switch ?

Thanks for the video link re the neutral switch repair.
The wire in my pic is the one that should be attached to the switch, it was loose and just hanging behind the battery, so I removed it to show the connector hoping it would help in identifying it.

It's brown. The wrong lighting can make it look almost red.
No matter where you go, there, you are.

Ah HA!
That explains why there is a wiring connector shown in your picture.  I was confused when I first looked at it.

Yes.  Do the "fix" Singhg5 shows in his video and reconnect the wire.
WALLAH!  Your neutral light should work and the start motor should work too. :)

While I'm writing, the side stand safety switch has two wires.  One for the power supply and one for the return to the main Power Switch module.

Happy to stand corrected...
