I have been trying to learn a bit about making videos before we do our India trip.. So far I am only using the video part on the camera so quality is not that great.
I just made this simple vid on starting a Bullet.
It's quite hard putting down in words what you do all the time so it may seem a bit goofy to some. Probably got half the things wrong  also but at least it started. ;)

Nice job! I'll try it on my way to work this morning. I rely to much on my ES and have only played with the kickstart.I will let you know how I make out.

  I only kick mine over once, and thats just to verify I'm at TDC.Then, almost always, just one kick and it fires off-even after sitting for a few weeks.

I kick mine over about 10 times, not for the starting but to pump the oil out of the bottom end. Then turn the key on and one kick it. No choke necessary but it's not winter yet.  :)

I leave it at tdc, then one kick. Didn't know it was that complicated.
2005E Fixed and or Replaced: ignition, fenders,chainguard,wires,carb,headlight,seat,tailight,sprockets,chain,shock springs,fork springs, exhaust system, horn,shifter,clutch arm, trafficators,crankcase vent.

Then a serious answer is what you will get. Yes it does help. I have an AVL and they have higher output oil pump. I can check my oil level before and have none on the dip stick. The ten kicks will get enough in to show half on the stick.

Kicking easy is no less nor more than regular kicking to start.

Yes, the kicking is as PhilJ says, gets the oil moving.
Kensar, not sure about the rack as it came with the bike, it may not even be RE brand.

It is good getting different views on what folks do with their bikes, very helpful to all.
We are in our winter period so this is why I was trying to do "cold starting" thing. Basically get the oil circulating and showing that in colder situations you sometimes do need to spend a few moments pampering your bike. I don't ride mine every day in the winter and the poor thing may sit for a week or two, so it needs a bit of attention.
As Cyrusb has mentioned, there really isin't anything too complicated about starting these machines,  mine is usually a "one-kick wonder" most of the time, but not all of the time in certain conditions.

Great video. I'm sure it will help people!

You might consider including a video portion of the section near the beginning where you press to compression, decompress and watch the ammeter to get past TDC (and just prior to kicking over).

Great video, that's very similar to the way I kick my '07 Deluxe. It usually fires up on the third or fourth kick after kicking it through a few times with the decompression open.
