I like the 12" megaphone a lot, unfortunatelly the internals are welded inside and can't be removed acc. to dimecitycycles, othervise it would have been my choise too.

This upswept section
I bought these. They are the same diam. as the head pipe & didn't fit. Use the upswept pipe from our sponsers site. works great.

So GTB535 would the size of the muffler need to be 1-3/4 to fit the upswept section?  I emailed Tim Hirdler at CMW about it n he said 1-3/4 just figured I'd ask since u have that piece on your GT!  Thanks !

Sorry. I've been away from the forum. yes. 1 3\4 muffler slid on nice. I had to use the biggest adaptor in the set for the head pipe. I ended up picking the 17" reverse cone. I had to repack the muffler & tone it down some.

Cool!  Thank you GTB535!  Some things I need to get right on my car so trying to do first things first with my tax money.  I do need to get my muffler angled up tho before it gets warm cause I get uneasy on right sweepers cause I've had it get the rear out slightly not dropped her yet n don't want to.  You can see in my profile pic not much clearance there, plus there's a hole where I've scrapped it a few times and now it has an obnoxious ring to it.  I might just leave it with the upswept adapter section.  Order that first and see how it looks then the muffler?  So many decisions!
