Very nice!

My last solid body, since 1980.

I may have to return to my regular guitar or fiddle on my cbg only in the garage. My wife complains that it sounds too "whiny"   ;D

I was reading this on my phone, so the pics are small, but as I was scrolling down, I saw the 1st pic and thought " is that a Hamer?"  Then I saw the second pic. Lol
I have an '83 Special FM, given to me by my brother. It doesn't see much playing time,  mostly sits in a closet, hopefully appreciating in value.

Unfortunately, the standards more so than the sunbursts.

The standards were all hand built, ours were production models, even though Paul and the crew still built them then.

Mine is a '79. Bought in 80. Replaced several melody makers and a nice LP jr.

I was told that less weight ment more power.  At 7 lbs per poney, I figure that is about a 10 horse gain....????
