Also, I followed your video advice about the label text, but mine looks different than yours.  In fact, most of the labels are more or less unreadable on my screen - small black text with glowing red border.  Mine and Desi Bike's are currently the only ones I can easily read...

BIG FONT Matt !    :o    And wait.... fishing ?!   ;D   I moved my X a little farther up N Michigan ave.  ::) ;)      I notice I now have the Disco glow around my name ?   I had set it like yours without that effect.

For me, zooming in doesn't change the "pin" or label sizing - just the background map.  So it doesn't help me read them.  I see there's another "hard-to-read" entry, that must be the default text - too bad!

Just following directions!  And - not fishing... swimming!  8)

Peter - welcome to the world of public "guest map" maintenance...  :-X

There, a bit easier to find the map with a link here in the thread.

I thought of "typing something in the box" - but I didn't try hard enough!  I typed just one letter, and the "save" button stayed grayed out, so I quit and came crying to you for help.  In fact, you gotta type two or more letters to have the "save" button enabled...  :o  Go figure!

Also, I followed your video advice about the label text, but mine looks different than yours.  In fact, most of the labels are more or less unreadable on my screen - small black text with glowing red border.  Mine and Desi Bike's are currently the only ones I can easily read...

I think that I am responsible for the red halos.  Feel free to change it.

Well, that wasn't too difficult after I figured out I needed to poke the "Edit Map" button, select insert a point and then fill in my name in the box.
Oh, you guys are right.  Changing the text size to 14 point shows up better.

After several attempts, I think it worked.  It is nice to see the spread of owners around the world.  Now I feel like I'm not the only nut, even though I do live on the left coast.

I used a green pin. I made the font too large and changed to a smaller size. I think I was covering up New Jersey.

I went back in and tried to add a URL to a picture of the Rumbler.  But  the  pop up is coming up blank for me, other than the alternate text. I've double checked the URL and it works OK, just not in the popup.  Now I'm curious if anyone else can see it or not.
