this forum has been a real wealth of knowlege and welcome support for a new RE owner.

Bike ride on the 23rd got wrapped up making sure the warm liners are in both my jacket and leggings then overheated just needed jeans and lightweight jacket crazy weather in uk for late December ????

Merry Christmas.  Enjoying Socal this weekend, just left Mojave dessert.  There were some great RE roads along the way but I'm in an econobox.

BTW, the roads I that mentioned in my last post were Hwy 247 from Barstow CA to 29 Palms, and the Joshua Tree National Forest.

  There was however, freezing cold wind and you would want some kind of of back - up in case of break down.  That highway is very desolate but beautiful and the JT forest seems like another planet, it is really weird and amazing.
