I have no connection to the seller. I just saw it and thought it would make for an interesting topic. Seller claims rear end is custom, but it sure looks like the Hitchcocks hard-tail kit to me, along with a bunch of other pieces. He also says its being sold as a non running bike, but it starts in the video. No telling how old the video is. Also says its been a while since the conversion/restoration, but the odo shows low miles.  I'm intrigued , if for no other reason than it looks cool to me. I'm keeping an eye on it

It's a relatively late model 5 speed.
It looks nothing at all like a 1950 model.

But, it has a pretty attractive  appearance.

Hitchcocks 1940's kit look like the bike on eBay,but you can also get similar stuff from India to make the same mods. I notice the ebay bike has the old style hubs and rear wheel stand.

Sold $2800/£1860.
If the conversion was done with quality parts and workmanship I'd have paid that for it.

Actually, it does look quite like a 1950 Model G. Some differences, but pretty close. I have absolutely no interest in buying a hardtail, though.

definitely not unreasonable.  I'm sure the value of all those aftermarket parts wasn't cheap. If that was the look someone was after, that would have been a good cheap way to do.
