Paul - Have you done the PCV mod yet? I did that as well. It reduces pumping pressure.

Hi Guaire, have powertronic ecu fitted, o2 sensor bypassed. Cut funnel off original filter lid and have uni filter sock from a yammy xt660. Open reverse cone with baffle. Iridium plug and new ngk cap and lead.????

The first bits have passed the quality check.

Took it to work and clicked it in the light tent for some more detail view.  ;)

Looking over this topic, is this something it's still available and are there any performance stats on it? I did spend about an hour and a half with some sandpaper rounding off the inlet 90 degree Edge inside the airbox. Got the edge rounded off. Might tackle it one more time to give it a bit more of a rounded Edge later this week. I still have the Hitchcock's Big Gulp aluminum Inlet mounted at the opening of the air box. It started raining so a test ride will have to wait.

With that previous post there should have been a picture of the filter that was being made where the filter stuck outside of the air box opening and was bolted where the stock airbox opening cover would have gone.

Installed big gulp alloy inlet plate with K&N filter. Not sure if any power gain has been achieved. However, there is a nice ( in my opinion) loud induction bark. Particularly with throttle on at low revs.

So did my first ride after rounding off the air Inlet Edge inside the airbox. Don't know if it was just me or if it was actual results but the bike seem to accelerate A Little Bit Stronger especially through first gear. And riding down the freeway at 63 to 65 miles an hour seem to take a little bit less effort even in a slight headwind. Not sure at 3700 RPMs if I'm really going to feel the difference or not. But it seemed like there was a difference.

Tom, are you keeping a list of those who expressed interest previously?

Probably not all. I have some.

I think it would be beneficial for all parties who still have interest to reiterate it here. Some folks may have dropped interest during the down time.

We are setting the pricing and payment info now. Price is higher than before, but costs went up.
Should have all the info up this weekend.

PS- There are only 20 units on this run. Not alot to go around, but it was all we could afford to make at this time.

That's great news Tom!  Glad to see progress being made once again!
