Here is a very short youtube video showing fabricated brackets for hanging the leather panniers that many of us have to a royal enfield.

I have seen sets made of pvc with light clamps which is all readily availabe, but being an old boilermaker myself, I have been holding out for a design which I could weld up from steel.  I like the simplicity of this set. 
Even though I have just purchased a hard pannier set, I would still like to fab up a set of these brackets for proper mounting of my softies which I also love.

I would prefer to just buy as set from RE, even if I had to weld the brackets to the stays myself.  If only they would make them available.

his idea is good but he should have taken that bike out into better light as the camera was struggling in the dim lighting conditions....plus he's a bit too close to the subject.
I'd like to see that bracket in good detail though

Those bags look like they would fit perfectly on the rear frame rails of my B5.
