Just to introduce myself... I've recently bought a Classic 500 Despatch Limited Edition (number 9 of 200 of the green camouflage ones) and am currently running it in. I've been riding for more than 40 years (no wonder I'm sore
and also own a 2015 Triumph Sprint GT for touring and fast riding with mates, and a proper Triumph, a 1954 Tiger 100, for local riding and shows etc. I rally like "Number 9" as I've christened her; riding her is very therapeutic and relaxing. She gets far more interest from bikers and non-bikers alike than my "plastic" Sprint - about the same as my Tiger 100 in fact. Oh, I'm based in England, if you hadn't already guessed.
Anyway, I look forward to contributing to this forum, being a reasonably accomplished home mechanic who has always preferred to do my own maintenance.
