This is too much.

The bike was kind of sinking on center stand. When I looked carefully what is going on, there is a big gap in the weld on the frame, where the stand is attached. Moreover the frame bar is also bend, arching up instead of being straight.

Sorry to hear that Br. Singhg.
Have you thought about contacting RE USA ?  Since yours is one of the first UCE machines in the States and might be the highest mileage unit they may want to study it.

Yeeeesh Singh !! :o    How bad is that arch on the cross tube ?  Hard to see in the pic. Can you get a little torpedo level on it ?

judging from the picture it looks repairable.  However getting it done will be inconvenient and irritating.

Call Chumma,  and he can take it to Billy the frame builder,  and he can weld it for you.

Maybe it can be repaired but perhaps the question needs to be asked and understood, why it happened. Especially since it looks like the frame has bent.

Singh, I'm so sorry to hear this.  Make sure you have whoever looks at it check overall integrity too. I know you ride in all weather so make sure rust hasn't taken too big of a bite.

You may end up taking the bike apart for the repair but I'm betting it can be welded.

The weld looks ok. Looks like the frame tube broke and let loose of the weld.

Some pictures with a Level in front of cross-bar. Since the level was a bit longer than the cross-bar of frame, it could not be placed on bar instead it was held in hand with its edges touching the frame.

The level has 3 water filled tubes. The middle one shows air bubble towards the left, indicating uneven position of stand - left leg being higher than right leg of stand. Though it may be slightly exaggerated by the fact that the left-weld is broken so left leg may be slightly pushed up due to weight of bike.

Another observation is that the middle portion of cross-bar is also protruding FORWARD. So much so that its edge has penetrated the tip of crankcase in front of it (pictures #3 & 4).

The cross bar is arching up & forward. And the left-weld is of course broken.

Yeah, I see what you mean Singh.  Bent up and forward towards the Engine.  Weakened from the rust and  cracked  welds in the center, then distorted by the use of the center stand.  The way it looks in the pic's....  That whole section MAY have to be cut out and replaced. BTW,  Are there any drain holes on the bottom of that cross tube ?  Mine has a couple down there.

Sorry to hear about this, Singh!  Ironic, too, what with your concurrent 40,000 mile thread...  :(

Need a forensic frame examiner, who might ask "do mostly you: electric start - or kick start on centerstand? Did rust contribute to the failure?  Can it be re-welded in place - building up the stand feet & function correctly?"
Hard to believe this happened with only normal stress & wear. This certainly adds weight to my criticism of using SIDECARS on Enfield UCE FRAMES, as it indicates under-engineering & inherent weakness.(IMO)

This sure stinks especially for a well maintained bike like yours.  A frame shouldn't fall apart like this.
