Hi,

I've been in the iron barrel forum for a while. I have a 2005 bullet with the continental kit and I just rebuilt the motor into a 612. I love the bike but it's pretty much done. There isn't anything really left to do. So....
It looks like I am going to become the owner of a 1965 series 1 interceptor! It needs some work but is all there and has no dents I'm told.
It belongs to my Uncle, he owns a Cam Grinding business and specializes in British flat track motors. As soon as I get some pictures I will post.
I just wanted to introduce myself to this section and say I look forward to adding the big twin to my stable!!

There is an active Interceptor forum on yahoo. Many knowledgable contributors. It also has a related Interceptor website.

I sent a request to join that group and haven't heard from them.
On another note, the first steps have begun. I ordered a new 8' x 12' shed to build into my restoration shop. I only have a one car garage and my wife's convertible is in there. So this gives me dedicated space for wrenching on bikes. I also bought a motorcycle lift table from Harbor Freight to go in there.
I am bringing the bike home in 3 weeks. So I will post starting pics then!

All you need now is some insulation and heat for the winter.  ERC

Cool!  8)

Are those wall studs for the shed at 3' spacing?  Probably fine for a shed, but have never seen them so far apart before.  Did you happen to run electrical out to there?

Regardless, excited to see you get this bike back to life.  :)

The side wall in the shed are 24" on center and the back wall is weird so it doesn't really have any fraing. It was a shed kit I bought at Home Depot.
My next project is running electrical. Gotta get that before I can do any real work on the bike.

So I decided to mock up everything to see what if anything is missing and this is where I left off for the day.

Yeah I think everything's by is there. Less some fasteners, front seat brackets, rear tank bracket and the tool box covers.
