Greetings All,
On my 06 Electra (purchased summer before) I am able to look down on the back left side of the engine and view the top of the front sprocket. No problem accept that some of the normal chain fling off ends up on the engine case in the space under the carb. I am wondering is there supposed to be some sort of tin or rubber cover over that sprocket that my bike may be currently missing?

Thanks,
George Baker

The Redditch Bullets used sprocket covers (unless they had full chaincases), you can fit one if you shorten the front of the chainguard to suit. Item #19 on the parts book drawing.

Thanks for the replies,
I think I'll look into a short extension of the chain guard.

They look factory to me.  Well done.
