I think they are the same
Correct me if I'm wrong but the 5 speed boxes are pretty nuch the same on the IB, AVL and UCE?

 That is my understanding as well, with the main differences being the shafts are laid out horizontally in " three box" ( I.B. and AVL ) applications and stacked vertically in the UCE.

The counter-shaft sprocket differs somewhat too.

I think the verdict is that we think it will work, and if you order one from NFG and it doesn't work, you can send it back for a refund.

Have you checked Nfield to see if they have an AVL shift lever?
