I have lowered my handle bars as I have seen a few others do, and I am loving the new position, to me it is more comfortable than the original position.

Also just switched out my hooligan style exhaust for a black reverse cone and wrapped the header then sprayed the wrap black.

Very happy with the result, I love this bike!

Nice. Does the handlebar hit the tank though? And did you use the stock handles?

I positioned the bars by squashing a finger against the tank with the plastic switch housing (at full lock), leaving about a 10mm gap. Not very technical I know, but the bars feel very even when riding.

PS no idea why the pic displays upside down it looks right in my photos folder.

If you did it from an iPhone, I've had it happen that way too. Just go into edit and flip it.

More power to you on the bars. I'm barely limber enough at my age to use them stock!

nice look.  Being a cyclist and use to getting in a very tucked position, I don't know if I could get the bars low enough for me to not be comfortable and still be useable.  I actually like the bars at stock height.  It feels good to me and still leaves room to get tucked when need.  Im not one to lay on the tank.  Don't want to get the top of the tank all scratched up.
