This is interesting. I'll be replacing the left side mirror and the left bar end. I'm not sure what's up with instruments. Something about a broken tab.
I'll be checking the front end, tire pressure and wheel alignment. At 15 mph nothing got whacked hard. That is when I'm able to do those sort of things.
Lightweight bikes are quick to interpret input controls to the chassis. Heavy UJMs need to be pushed into responding. The way I look at them, every motorcycle has its own stabilization system. Every bike has two stabilizing gyroscopes, front wheel and the back wheel. Sometimes less input creates more stability than more input, just let the two gyros roll through.
I've owned a ST1100, just sold a Yamaha FJR1300. I want stability but I've had enough of giant bikes.
