Hello,all...it's been a while, but I've FINALLY found about 95% of the parts that I need to start the project!I have a clean title, and most of the hard-to-find parts...the hardest were the headlight, dash, and engine guard...I still have a Trailblazer front fender, because the Chief/Patrol Car fenders are so scarce...check out the pix...I still need a wiring harness (may have to build one),but have a second (damaged) dash, cocktail shaker exhausts, decent headers,a working Lucas K2F magneto, two better condition 16" wheels, original NOS Lucas ignition switch and headlight switch, perches and levers, cables,a spare transmission,a second speedo (120 MPH)/LOTS of chrome brackets and mounting plates, centerstand, grips, throttle, tool boxes, battery carrier, rectifier, horn, triple tree (nice and shiny), a bobbed rear fender (thanks,Tom!),so I can make one decent one,LOTS of nuts and bolts, spare front and rear hubs, chrome speedo drive, horn button, kill switch...jeez...anyone have any leads on who can build me a "Proper",color correct,English wiring harness?Any spare Chief parts out there?Advice?Warnings?

Looks like a decent foundation. I didn't have that much at the beginning (allso a 59).
Some parts can still be found at HMC (not too much though, but they have a bunch of the Indian badges, a harness for the Connie and such) and Phil Doland hast just made new rubbers. The "Aztec"-head for the nacelle can be found at Starklites (good quality, I got mine there). Good thing you have a complete headlamp and some of the harder to find parts. Bad your fenders are missing/chopped.

If you need any general advise, I'd be happy to help, since I have learned quite a bit in the last months and still am.
I sent you a pm.

Not to be picky but if you want it to be an original Chief they used a distributor not a mag.  ERC
2-57 Apaches, 2-57 Trailblazers, 60 Chief, 65 Interceptor, 2004 Bullet, 612 Bullet chopped.

ERC is correct, it should have the SR2 distributer.  Either way, glad to see you making some progress.  :)

Hi,
to be completely correct, the SR2 is the magneto and it should have a 18D2, if I'm not wrong ;)
Have you gotten my mail?
