Pieced together from 56 images and also 29 pages of pdf, the not great but still interesting sixth edition book covering all models from 1946 - 1958 4 stroke standard singles (except 1957-58 crusader 250).

Link takes you to my mediafire download page for this file.

I have this book in my library. Great that you are getting it out to the enthusiasts.
Cheers.

Stirred my interest so I pulled mine down off the shelf for another read. Found that it is an earlier version of the Pitman Series by Haycraft covering two and four stroke singles and V twins from 1936 to 1953.
Since it's 92F outside and humid as heck I'm stayin' inside and reading up on the KX V twins.

Hi Don,

I just loved reading this old book, which was in part pdf and part image files on the net, so i just put it all into a pdf so that others could enjoy as well!

If you have a Meteor 700 or a Meteor Minor, I have a webpage with a few documents that cover them at...

http://gpoclocksystems.byethost22.com/misc/index.html

PLUS... Another good site for instructions, parts books, and other bike related stuff including much Royal Enfield stuff old and new is at...

http://pdfmotomanual.com/

Go to the top of the page and click the flag for English, then off you go!

(should I be putting all this in a different topic on the forum guys?)

Hello Simon
Lots of very interesting reading! Your webpage would be a welcome addition on the Royal Enfield Forum at the britbike.com website. Have you been there?
Many years ago my first Royal Enfield was a 1959 Constellation.now I only have one lonely 1965 Interceptor.

been to visit, we are trying to get old of an S2 guy in Somerset. There is a nice bill of sale for his bike from a previous owner in the USA.

I just emailed a guy I know who is the REOC chairman, Somerset.

I should go join the britbike forum.

Hi Don,

would love to join the britbike forum, have tried twice now and just can't get it to work.

I just tried again, but put in the wrong email by mistake so cannot verify it.

Bugger!
