As many here know, my fuel sensor died within the first year of ownership.

The float dissolved into a translucent blob which I removed.

I'm sure different people have different ideas about these things but quite frankly, I found the flashing fuel level light to be an annoyance as it would start flashing when I still had almost a half of a tank of fuel.

Anyway, after three years of doing without the pesky thing, my bike is running great.  It's never run out of fuel and I don't miss having the thing.

Good luck on your sale. :)

 :o

I don't understand... that's MSRP for a brand new one with a 2-year warranty.  Who would buy it?

You might want to let the dealer know that.
He's either naive or willing to seriously bargain on the price.

He's probably counting on someone walking in off the street who knows nothing about Royal Enfields except they love the style.

I see all sorts of people buying things at auctions who know nothing about stuff and end up paying more for used things than the same thing would cost new.

The best is flea bay. I saw a used part for a Buell go for about twice what a new one cost. It was not rare if fact my dealer told me he had two on the shelf if I wanted to "Bid" on it he could use the money!

I'm pretty sure the original poster can edit the thread title (to say "sold"), or even delete the thread altogether.  I wouldn't normally suggest deleting a thread, but this one has served its purpose and isn't really useful for any future reference...
