fuel pipe flow when disconnected

Before I rip the fuel tank off
when I dissconnect the fuel pipe, will it flow out & need / allow draining, or will the pump stop the flow until turned on ?

You'll get a little residual from the tube but nothing should flow from the tank.

If you
do
get some dripping, it may be the fuel is seeping past the impeller, like mine did. A vinyl wire cap or a small caplug will stop the drip.

if it's not full, tilt it up from the back with a board. good also for not breaking the outlet pipe.
