I'm sure it will get a lot of attention. If there is a local RE dealer nearby, they may even get some showroom traffic from it....you might even meet some new riding buddies.
Have fun at the show.

He'll get a lot out of it.

Showing your bike for fun is a blast and a good way to meet new people and share the joy and passion of owning it.

That is far more satisfying IMHO than competing against your associates for a prize that may mean little shortly after.

It is fun. And even though the bike is new, it still getting a lot of attention and a lot of people did no role in field was still in business.

I came and saw the bike yesterday. It looked great along side the overly decorated bikes ;). The lighting was perfect and made the CGT stand out. I had a long conversation with two guys about RE and the CGT - they couldn't believe your bike was a 2014.

The display for the motorcycle is a 10 by 10, the display with the lighting and the floor I can't extend to a 20 by 10 which I use for my Hurst/Olds when I show it. The stanchions are gold because the first old is gold and white. But after setting up the gold actually looks pretty good with the red GT. Add some of the motorcycle displays were pretty cluttered with all kinds of stuff that didn't pertain to the motorcycle. I believe a nice clean simple display shows the bike better and also helps when the judges judge. When you coming to the show on set up day, you have to go through a tech inspection, and they try to figure out what class to put the car in and if its been altered in any way or if its all original. And the fact that the crankcases are polished and the rear shocks, the guy thought that it was customized. And when I told him the crank cases came from the factory polished he said he didn't think the British knew how to do that lol and then he looks to the back and says oh you have competition shocks on the back and I said nope that's the way it came. Either way I was getting put into a sportbike class.

Very nice.  Now go ride it until you can go tire edge to tire edge...win back some rider points.

It's much easier to be a poseur!

Great job KD!  Ya Dun Good! Might even give the rest of us some ideas about entering some shows, just to see what happens. Nothing wrong with being a poser once in awhile. ;)

That's poser here in the USA, Frenchy.   ::)

Well done KD. You deserved it. Based on what I saw, the competition was pompous. I am glad simplicity was awarded.

There was 8 bikes in my class. All but one other bike were highly customized. I think I did pretty good.
