250 RE with Villiers engine sighted last weekend at the USCRA Moto Giro in NY.  I didn't get the rider's name but maybe a member of this forum?  Cool Bike!

Ah!  The Turbo Twin, 250.

Royal Enfield only made those from 1964 thru most of 1966.
They only put out 17 hp.
Makes one wonder what would have happened if the power produced by the later 2 strokes with the right porting and expansion chambers would have been available at the time?

A 25-30 horsepower, lightweight RE in those days could have been another story by keeping the Jap motorcycles at bay!
