Rode up to Ohio to drop off a kayak at my baby sisters house and picked up a 2015 C5.  Um....dropping off the kayak was secondary to getting the bike and after 900 miles round trip I pulled into my driveway last night just as it started to sprinkle.  I faced the prospects of 100% chance of rain last night and all day today but woke to blue sky and went out for a short 16 mile ride.  Here's a pic of the bike by the Tennessee River and another along a road just south of town.  This is the perfect country to ride Urals and Royal Enfields. :)

Now...the fun begins.....

Thank you all.   Wow. ...I thought breaking in my other bikes was painful but this is torture lol.   I know you have all been there.   Went for a very short night ride tonight to see how the headlight is.  Seems ok.   Finished the day with 30 miles on the clock and a long way to go to that first oil change.  Still,  I am a stickler for doing the break in correctly.  This thing is a blast.

Congrats!

I've seen those fender stripes for the first time. Straight from the factory or add-ons?

I really like the classic look of the bike in black.    Wish the British racing green were available though.  Heindl up on Ohio had one of just about every color available and seeing them all together made me pause and reconsider lol.   They even had the military one which is awesome but I've been there done that for 20 years and had enough.    ;D The weather outside is gorgeous today and I am trying to see how I can get a few miles in today in and around the honey do list. If you are on the fence on buying a RE and in the area or a days drive away I highly recommend you give them a call.   Great guys and Urals and Royal Enfield is all they sell.

Sweet bike. I prefer the 2015 C5s in chrome, but that's just me. Have fun with it. How can you not have fun with an Enfield?
