BW You just gave me a sick idea for the seat pan!  Oh man!  Ooh shit, I need to get that seat pulled and sprayed black and make a phone call.

I LOVE this forum!  Thanks to every one thinking outside the box, I'm now going to finish this paint job off way sicker than I ever originally thought.

Thanks everyone!  And feel free to continue to add ideas!  :D

You must be psycho!  I mean psychic!   ;D

I called my friend this morning and I guess he is no longer set up but still has all his equipment.  He says he's not sure if the film is still good or not, but he is going to grab everything I need to do it myself and loan it to me at no charge.  I will use a large Tupperware bin for my dipping tank.  This is cool, I'm excited!

I am both anti chrome, and anti blackout (or murdered out as it is typically referred to, and am especially against getto wheels. You mostly see those on what used to be cars and trucks, but I have seen 30" front wheels on Harley clone baggers. I think my '13 B5 is just about where it should be with the proper blending of paint, chrome, and other colors and textures.

So, this is how I'm thinking of doing the seat pan.  :D

Is the material still good? I mean, will it go on properly, and stay on?

It's kind of "skully"!

It appears that the film is still good.  Lanny gave me two new rolls that were still sealed, so I think I'm good.  The only issue is that I'm having is using a plastic bin instead of an actual tank.  But I can work around that.  I've watched Lanny dip enough parts when I was helping him start out that I know what's going on.  I just need to do a couple more practice dips.

Want a carbon fiber air cleaner?   ;)

I think fake stick on carbon fibre looks a bit sad. Like bonnet scoops leading nowhere or bootlid spoilers on shopping cars. but each to their own.
Those skulls are pretty badass tho....

I decided that I'm not going to use the carbon fiber pattern on anything.  But I am going to paint the seal pan pearl gold and do the skull pattern across the rear of the cowl and keeping a gold outline around it.  And I will do the skull pattern on the outer primary cover, but maybe do brushed aluminum for the inner cover.

MORE OPINIONS THO!   :D

Spade "A" accents the colors of the bike and the vintage look.

Spade "B" accents the skulls on the seat and primary cover.

And I'll be throwing this beauty on the cowl.  Courtesy of Ace.Cafe.  :)

Looking at your white reliefs on your tank I was thinking that the spiral hypnotic effect might look cool. If done correctly you could place first in every show............you are getting sleepy..........this is the coolest bike you have ever laid your eyes on. Joking aside if you look at the pics online there are some good looking ones.
