Out of curiosity, I note that the only remaining model with 19 " rear wheel is the G 5 deluxe:  All the other models have 18 " rear wheel.   All other things being equal that should translate to lower engine RPM for any given speed.  Does anyone know if the final drive ratios are different on the G 5 to make it the same RPM band as the other models, or is there really a difference ?   Nigel

I am not sure about the exported models, however in India we have 2 models with same engine capacity but different wheel size. There is a change in the size of front sprocket to compensate the wheel size.

In the US... - it's the C5 that has the 18" rear wheel, and it has a larger drive sprocket than the 19"-wheeled models.

I think?

That settles it then.  Thanks all.   Odd, I still find the profile of the G 5 far more appealing than the C 5 , with B 5 second runner up. Can't put my finger on it , but something about the drop toward the rear fender just doesn't appeal.  CGT is another thing altogether --super eye candy, but harder to picture as a practical daily rider (bags etc).   Now (and I have said this before ) if they can put a 535 in a Harris type frame with dual discs but make it look like a G 5..............sweetness.
