Hi all. I upgraded to the stage 1 kit a few hundred miles ago and my mpg has been about 55-60 mpg. I love the performance that I am reviving, and was wondering how your gas mileage  has been

Typically when you make a power mod, you work the throttle more, and fuel economy drops.
Good mods often don't make mileage too much worse, but twisting the wrist will do it.

many a guy has improved his performance by a bit of wrist twisting lol but on the final run ...you always end flat out!

I was averaging 61 mpg before I put on my PCV at 1000 miles. Now I am getting about 53 mpg. I don't think I ride it any faster as I almost never go full throttle and just ride around at the speed limit.

Mine dropped from 70mpg to 65 over the last tank, all city riding.

The biggest benefit of the PCV is the significant drop in cylinder temperature. There must be at least a 30 degree difference, probably more like 45 degrees.

Nah,the biggest benefit is that it makes for a nice running bike that doesn't leave you stranded at stop lights.

My fuel economy hasn't dropped noticeably, but I've always been a spirited rider.

Yes, stalling when you crack the throttle open to move away from a stop is a well documented problem with the CGT. Some bikes worse than others. I could just about make mine stall on demand, it was so bad. Hasn't done it once since the PCV is fitted. Other changes that seemed to help along the way were idle speed adjust, throttle plate tweak (set back now the PCV in on board) NGK plug and lots of foul language.
