Does anyone know the valve spring dimensions for a late 700 twin?  I'm looking into performance springs as an option as I really hate giving my money to Mr. H.  I'm looking at the circle track 1200 series springs by PAC Racing Springs.  They are an entry level performance valve spring designed for "budget circle track builds".  I'm thinking that they should work well for my needs.  Even if I have to spend a little more, I'd much rather use an American made performance product than the weak OE springs.

Ace, perhaps you can shed some light on this, as you recently did the Gemini heads and are aware of the lift and spring bind clearances and tolerances.

We use PAC but we machine the head to take what we want to use. I don't know if there are any that will just fit right in without mods. I kinda doubt it. Our springs are about the smallest that they make.

The outer spring is 1.2775 outside, .960 inside. Inner one is .9240 outside, .6840 inside. And out in my shop it's 12 degrees. This is killing me.  :P  ERC

Thanks Roger!  But seriously, you didn't need to give yourself frostbite checking.   :-\
