well here we are into the start of the year 2015 and a couple of days back I was thinking of going military. nah! ...not join up as I am far too old for that.
I once had a maroon chrome and painted it green - like so. it didn't look too bad either.
now to get me there all I require is a sale for the current bike. I have a party interested now all I have to do is swing the deal.
if it happens I will take the plunge. on another note still waiting for that Daytona to arrive. last report it was sitting in a Sydney depot awaiting transport to the country.

another one, wildbill?  :o
lol...heck if I could I'd love to have a C5, a GT, AND an iron barrel....
but my funds and garage space wont allow that.
Any particular reason you're parting with the current C5? I figured after all the mods you had it the way you wanted it

I can't ride a GT. Bars to low, pegs to high and to far back. I wouldn't mind having a red and tan C5, but something would have to go. Would like to sell the Vulcan 750, but I would have to come up with a lot more money than I could get for that. I keep hoping RE will come up with a scrambler. It seems like such an obvious thing to do. I would definitely be looking for some money if they came out with a ready made scrambler from the factory.

no! the bike is fine I just had this idea I might try the military one, first off I'd have to sell this one I have. just because i have a potential buyer - not always the deal goes through.
a while back I did give my maroon chrome a plasti-dip paint job in battle green...lol

well good and bad news. the bad first. the potential buyer didn't show at the weekend to buy the c5 now for the good - the Daytona arrived at 11.30am today.

That thing is sweet! looks like you have a "WayBack Machine" and just pop in from the dealer buying it new. The Triumph Bonnie is why I want a Enfield. I couldn't buy a Bonnie in any kind if shape like your Daytona.
