It appears that the nuts for 2 engine mounts have vibrated off. Does anyone know the size and type of nuts. The first one is really skinny and threaded on both ends. It goes through the mount and frame right below the oil fill cap on the bottom of the bike. The second one is covered by the shift linkage and looks like the farest rear bolt it is only thread on one end and has a head it looks to be about 1/2 to 3/4 inch.

Well I'll tell you what I did when mine went missing.  I got on the phone with one of the guys at CMW and explained what I needed and they sent me a nut (via USPS to save money you got to ask).  It didn't fit.  We did this several times until we hit the right one.  The CMW  guys were very patient and helpful and stuck with me until I got what I needed.
Sorry I don't remember the size and it probably wouldn't matter cause I'm convinced that the Indians use different sizes depending on availability.

Hi, according to the parts manuals I have they can be either British CEI thread or metric depending on the year or serial #.Best bet get a thread gauge and check the diameter and thread count.  Roger

If TXpilot has a 1996 it'll probably be Whitworth.
