I miss having a sidecar, and I am considering adding an Inder SC to my C5.  I have seen pictures of these sidecars with several different windshields.  Can someone explain what is actually available?  Thanks.

I will answer my own question, since I bought a Cozy sidecar.  It comes with the tall windshield that is shown in many photos.  There is a metal apron at the bottom that mates with the cowel.  There is a metal bar behind it that attaches on the sides to the windshield; its main purpose may be to give the passenger something to hold onto instead of the windscreen.  Unlike on some sidecars, the windshield does not fold down.  I haven't taken it off yet, but it looks like it wouldn't take very long.

sjbiat- I'm wanting to add a sidecar to my 2014 C5 Chrome, I have not decided on which brand to buy but leaning more toward the Cozy, now my question is.... on your earlier post you were looking to purchase the Inder SC, on your last post you now have the Cozy SC, what made you purchase the Cozy instead of the Inder?

My dealer had a Cozy Rocket in stock.  I have the impression that in America RE only sells Cozy sidecars now.  I had not posted about Inders; maybe you have me confused with an earlier contributor.

When I was comparing dealers, I encountered very different quotes for mounting the sidecar ($500 to $700).  I selected a dealer at the high end based on distance and experience and he seems to have done a very good job.  It might be valuable for you to post your experience in that regard.

Good luck.
