I wrote about this a bit in the UCE forum but I was having a minor repair done at the same dealer who prepped the Land Speed Record bikes. I asked about getting that kind of performance out of a street legal bike on pump gas. Matt Capri told me that with 10:1 vs the race setup 12:1 compression and the added (original) 35cc it would get the same performance! This is not a home mechanic bolt-on "stage kit". It will cost, but if you want real race performance, how fast do you want to spend? Matt was very impressed with the LSR bikes. In fact, he told me that "nothing broke". Great guy to talk to and to do business with.
