Tested four digital volt/ohm meters for their performance - did voltage test on batteries, background resistance, resistor test, diode forward voltage test, calibration with potentiometer and checked for stability and reproducibility.
These were under or about $20 dollar. The best one came out to be Innova from Autozone.
Cheapest CenTech from Harbor Freight was acceptable in some tests and can be calibrated for voltage test (need a reference to match) but had unacceptably high background resistance control ohm values. HF has given me a few of them FREE. But they are less reliable in some ways.
