I found what is believed to be Mk11 interceptor . Engine, frame +most small pieces. Questions are frame#location.  Engine #location(think I found) and approximately worth. Thanks for any reply

The frame number is typical on the left side of the head stock or head tube on the frame.  Do not confuse the casting number with the frame number, casting number will have a triangle near it.

The engine number is on the crank case just above the primary cover on the left hand side of the motor, the engine number should start with 1B followed by 4 digits and may be a letter.

Follow this link for some examples http://www.burtonbikebits.net/interceptor_mkii.htm

What's it worth, in its disassembled state and if it was absolutely 100% complete, 1-3 grand depending on state of chrome and other peripherals.  If assembled in good running order, then 6 - 8 grand, if in showroom condition 8 - 10 grand  may be more but not likely.  This is all in my opinion but I do watch the market place around the world for these machines and certainly in the US it is unusual for a top condition Mk2 to go for more than 10k.  If the motorcycle is not 100% complete then go to Hitchcocks and start working out how much it will cost to replace missing bits and start discounting the price accordingly.

Tell us the numbers when you find them and may be post a pic or two as well.

Good luck,

Regards Charles

There is a Mk2 for sale on epay at the moment, current bid is around $12,100.  May go higher.

Wow, that thing is really rough.  There still is a gem to be had with that machine, but it will cost you about $5000 to get that bike cherry again.  You could probably just do mechaincal and leave the paint, but will still cost you around $3000 or more to get it mechaincally sound.

And I don't know what the hell that fork is off of but it is not Enfield.

Yes rough but if it is cheap enough and you have the skill you can get a nice classic going again.

What's the engine number there?  I couldn't make it out.

I don't know what those front forks are off of but it isn't a original Royal Enfield.

The only Royal Enfield that ever had disk brakes (before the Indian made Bullets) was a Rickman-Enfield and it had Lockhead brakes with a caliper that looked a lot like a 1970's Honda.  It (the caliper) looks like it was floating out in front of the front fork, not built into them.

Looking at the pictures I can smell "MONEY PIT", spelled in capital letters even though the Series II was a big improvement over the earlier twins.

Then, if money is no object and someone wants a huge amount of work just for the fun of it.....

The bike will be a money pit, but it should be restored.
I'm pretty sure that the correct forks should be Norton Roadholders, which would not be hard to find.

It would make a very nice project, and it is a rare bike with good collector value, and a very nice rider too.

Hi smoker,

1463 was sent to Elite Motors of Tooting (London) on the 14th May 1969.

Where did you find it, approximately.
