Clutch plates question in tech tips

Hey, posting this here in case people don't visit the tech tips. Having a question regarding the difference in thickness between the stock and Barnett friction plates. Thanks.

The Barnett plates are thicker.
It's not unusual to only get 4 Barnett friction plates into the basket.
They have more surface contact area, and they hold better anyway.
