If it's faked, there are sure a bunch of people faking it. The Snopes thing was done some where between 2007 and 2009. Certainly is well out of date. They have an updated date on it, but that certainly doesn't agree with the text! They even mention it probably being on the market in 2010. Maybe it's here now! I don't trust Snopes any more, anyway.

It's real.  Real software for editing video.

If that existed, you'd have seen it by now with your own eyes... in real life.

Would be really awesome, although Scotty J would be out of a job!

It is in fact real.  From what I can tell.  Do a search on YouTube for "paramagnetic paint".  There are several videos of multiple different cars.  I'll do some more research and see if this in fact real.

Does it change so quickly into so many colors?

The thing that made me skeptical of that particular video was the way the colored parts of the wheels changed, too...

I hope I'm wrong, so I can be duly impressed...  ;)

From what I understand the body/paint is electronically charged.  The frequency of the electricity being introduced to the body determines the color of which the paint turns.

Nah... c'mon Scottie, you are in the paint business.  Have you ever seen it?  There's many videos on Youtube showing many things, both fact and fiction.

If something that cool existed, you'd see it everywhere.

Lol, good old Adobe After Effects.

The one that changes with electric charge is the electroluminescent paint - http://lumilor.com/science/

A topic regarding that was posted here some time ago, I think.

I just now watched that other video posted.  That is very interesting what different computer programs can do these days.  Makes me wonder if the electroluminescent paint is real or not......

Electroluminescent has been around a long time. Cool stuff with an eerie glow but this isn't it. More YouTubery.
