Not an Enfield, but I have had the countershaft seal leak on several bikes. All Japanese. Most can be pried out with a screwdriver, and a new one installed by driving it in with the right size socket or piece of pipe. That seal is currently leaking on my XT225, but it only leaks when the bike is on the sidestand, and the seal is below the oil level. When I put it on the aftermarket centerstand, it doesn't dribble oil on the garage floor, and it does not lose enough oil to be concerned with while riding it.
