The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is this weekend.  In the lead up to the race, there was a classic car cruise this evening (actually, just a big lot full of parked cars).  It's all about the cars, of course, but there will also be a display of vintage motorcycles.  I rode down for a look, and was in this spot first.  The owner of a '68 BSA parked near me, and wanted to know what my motorcycle was supposed to be a recreation of.  He didn't get it, and after a while I just walked away.

Aw man, was this down the waterfront?  If I didn't have a million things going on. I drive a mini and get invited to the marquee event every year. It always looks like a good time.

Spent a few hours at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix in Schenley Park.  The motorcycle display was hosted by the Ohio Valley BSA Owners' Club.  I didn't watch more than a minute or two of the races, but I did enjoy looking at the motorcycles and cars.  Can anyone identify that two-cylinder RE?  I wasn't able to find the owner.

Looks like a 750cc Interceptor  from the early 1960's.

They came with the tachometer and twin carbs and were a export model to the USA.

I'm super bummed I wasn't able to make it to this. I didn't get out there until 330pm and it was a mass exodus at that point. It would've been great to see all those bikes and to meet you too.
