At the risk of starting a huge debate of whether or not to use gasket sealer with new gaskets, what have those of you done during your right shift conversion?
Purchased conversion kit from CMW and it did come with a gasket for the inner trans cover. Is it necessary, or recommended to use any type of permatex along with the new gasket? I've read conflicting reports. Some just indicate to smear with bearing grease? Others, say no to permatex...some say definitely.
