Hello everyone, my name is Peter and I will be keeping everyone abreast of all the fresh new gear available at NFieldgear.com

Today is my first day here, my first post on the forum and my first new product available.

I've added a new C5 pillion carrier to the website in both chrome and in black.  It's a very straight forward install and will add some rugged good looks (plus extra carrying capacity!) to your C5 Bullet.

Check it out when you get a chance:

I'll try to be as active as I can here in between installing and taking pics of all the sweet bits and bikes we have here for me to play with. ;)

I can't use the rack because of my pillion seat.

What I am looking for is saddlebags to match the tan seat of my Classic Chrome or burgundy to match the paint.

I see there are burgundy bags but they are quite small, and tan bags but the ad mentions they are a lighter shade. The black bags in te larger size are sold out.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I have a long history of building and riding vintage motorcycles and scooters so I'm really excited to be joining the family.

I've always been a big fan of Royal Enfield and can't wait to get to know everyone and get as involved as I can here.

Get some leather dye and put it on all the leather parts on your bike - my bags came from India and were a lighter green and the seat was a solo that was black so - now they are all dark green !

There are hundreds of places in India that sell Royal Enfield stuff.

I'm sure our own NfieldGear store gets their stuff from there.

The thing of it is, some of the Indian suppliers offer some good stuff and many of them sell junk that might look good for a while.

Just today on an Indian web site I read about a gentlemen in India who had purchased a light for his RE from a private Indian supplier.   He wasn't happy because the bulb melted a hole thru the lens.

Maybe "Royal Enfield Spares" has good stuff.  Maybe some of it is good and some of it isn't worth carrying across the street, let alone shipping it half way around the world.
I don't know.

What I do know is Kevin makes sure NfieldGear is selling the best stuff available from India before it is offered to us.  He doesn't buy from the riffraff.

Yah, I've said some of the stuff I've bought from NFG needed some modification before it would fit my G5 but after fitting it, it has lasted over 3 years and it is still working fine.
I'm not sure I could say that about parts bought from some of the suppliers located in India.
