Just had to say a big "Thank You" to all the members who have posted issues on this forum. As a new Classic 500 Bullet rider, I have picked up so much valuable info from the forum and all for free!! My new Bullet now has 270 miles on the clock and I have enjoyed every mile. Many thanks once again to you all, best wishes from the UK. Ken

Welcome to the forum.  Get my 08 Military this Saturday.  One of the things I mention on forum is open a word doc when your in the forum.  When you see something worth saving for later do a ctrl c and ctrl v to doc file.  I'm up to 25 pages in my doc file of good useful info I have gotten from here.  Saves trying to remeber where I saw that post.  Good luck and Good riding from Houston.  Eric

Welcome Ken.

I whole heartedly agree with you. I was really spoiled by the Ural forum over the years, and refrained from buying a Bullet for several years for two reasons: lack of a comparable forum and 60 mph cruising speed. Both of those were mitigated.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I discovered this forum shortly after its unveiling!

This forum will certainly positively contribute towards some potential owners decision of whether or not to buy an RE.

Matt

This is a cool and interesting forum. I would like to see something added however. The Ural forum (www.sovietsteeds.com) will have pictoral, step by step mods and repairs. A step by step pictoral instruction has been valuable to me many times.

Welcome Ken, I have been a Bulleteer for five years. I joined the forum a little less then a year ago. The folks here are incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They've helped me out on a couple of occasions. I learn something new every time I go into the blog. My Bullet has been very dependable and in five years she's let me down only once and it was my fault. She was overdue for decarbonizing and a chunk of carbon got wedged between the intake valve and its seat. The guys here diagnosed the problem immediately. I was up and running in no time. cochi ;D
