In areas where the wiring harness is near sharp metal corners or parts are rubbing against it you might want to do what I did to my G5 when I first got it.
Buy a few feet of clear vinyl tubing in 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" size. It's cheap.
In areas where the wiring or harness is in danger, cut a length of the tubing that will be long enough to protect the wires.
Use a razor knife to slit the cut piece of tubing down the side from end to end.
Pry the cut open and slip the wiring inside the tube.
The vinyl is soft so it won't damage the insulation on the wires, causing trouble later.
