Nice job, great information to have at a glance.

 I've been thinking more and more about a cylinder head temp guage seeing as how I live in AZ and ride an IB.  No tach for me though, unless I switch to electronic ignition...

There are tachs which can be used on single cylinder engines with points, such as the Iron Barrel 500.
Chumma has a VDO and handlebar mount which can be used on points ignition singles, if you put a diode in the trigger wire. He has all the details , if you want to contact him about it

I'm going to have to do that, the only one's I've seen for singles with points were over $300.  I always figured for that price I'd switch to electronic ignition and go with an Auto-lite type of tach.  I'll PM Chuma and see what he says.  Thanks Tom!  8)
